MIRO WINE – HOW IT’S MADE

Our goal is to create a short film that is fully digital but captures the imperfections and materiality of stop-motion animation.

RESEARCH QUESTION: How can we craft a short 3D animation that imitates the style and texture of a stop-motion animation in order to generate a sense of familiarity?

Miro Wine tells a tale of two unlikely friends – an old, grumpy kereru and a young, naive fantail.
